D. LeBlanc when I was 13 or 14 (I'm 68 now) and I remember him so well and his wife Isabel. He was a wonderful person and I think he was from Louisiana (he had a slight southern accent). They used to live in a beautiful house off Sunset Blvd. and it had a striking blue roof. I even remember two of his horses, Bascomb and Shaherazade. I used to work at Will Rogers on the weekends exercising the horses and on Sunday cooling them out during the games. Another player I remember is Duke Coulter and I remember seeing Bob Skene and Clyde Kennedy?? (can't remember his last name but he was one of the greats. Also, I ran into Sue Sally Jones at the Menlo Circus Club in Atherton 25 or so years ago. Anyway, if I can remember anything else I'll let you know.
